The Santa Cruz Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on July 22, 1916. Meetings are held in the Monterey Bay area on the fourth Wednesday of the month from January through May and September through December inclusive. Chapter members come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common bond of having an ancestor who helped contribute to securing American independence. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible to join. If you are interested in joining our chapter or attending a chapter meeting, please contact our chapter regent.
